“The thoughts that occur to me are like clouds in the sky. Clouds of all different sizes. They come and they go, while the sky remains the same sky always. The clouds are mere guests in the sky that pass away and vanish, leaving behind the sky.” – Haruki Murakami
I have been providing individual, family and group therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings for approximately 25 years. It is a passion of mine. I feel honored and grateful to have the opportunity to walk beside my patients on their journeys. I am authentic and honest, always. I bring empathy, openness, curiosity and care to my work. I genuinely enjoy the time with my patients, and I think it shows. I am interactive and actively involved in sessions, as I see therapy as a collaborative process.
My practice is to help guide my patients toward self-understanding, acceptance and wellness, not to be a passive listener, nor to tell them how to live life.
